Moi Dix Mois

Founded in 2002 by Mana (ex Malice Mizer), this band has gained a cult following world wide. The Name Means "Me Ten Months" in French, Though, that is not the meaning behind Mana's choice in words. A brief paraphrase of his words would tell, that the name is to commemerate the ten month wait before Mana resurfaced on the music scene.

Mana owns the record label, in which the band is under. He also writes the lyrics, composes the music, leads the band, and owns Moi même Moitié that supplies the group with their stage outfits.

During the middle of Moi Dix Mois' career the band went a temporary hiatus, due to the fact their Vocalist Juka left the band. The hiatus went on from the middle of 2005 to the beginning of 2006, once Mana anounced Juka's replacement Seth. Soon after, Mana had to replace his drummer and bassist. Though they hit some stumbling blocks, Moi Dix Mois is one of the most powerful bands around to date.
